Commuters stranded in Lagos-Ibadan Expressway gridlock

A major traffic jam brought movement to a halt on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Monday, leaving motorists stuck for hours as gridlock spread across both the inbound and outbound lanes.The standstill extended from the Alausa Expressway down to the Fatgbems/OPIC roundabout for those heading toward Mowe while motorists travelling into Lagos were trapped from the Long Bridge to the same roundabout.The heavy congestion is traced to a crash at the New Garage area, where two vehicles went up in flames and were completely burnt to ashes.The accident, however, has caused a major obstruction, (…)
