Herdsmen attack leaves woman maimed in Nasarawa community

A quiet farming settlement in the Barki Abdullahi (BAD) community of Lafia Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, was thrown into panic on Saturday after suspected Fulani herdsmen launched an attack that left a woman with her hand severed.The assailants, who have yet to be identified, reportedly ambushed farmers working on their fields, inflicting severe injuries on several residents.The woman, whose hand was chopped off with a machete, was among those rushed to a nearby clinic for emergency treatment.A community resident, who gave his name as Esla, confirmed the incident and described it (…)
