A former Minister of Defence, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, SAN, has blamed unemployment among youth and graduates in the country on the lack of skills and skills mismatch.Delivering the 36th convocation lecture of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Kayode described as depressing and unacceptable a situation in which 53.4 per cent of youth and graduates in Nigeria are unemployed.Kayode told the university graduates, across the country that skills development must be the most critical issue for Nigerian youth today if the problem of unemployment is to be solved.He therefore (…)
