ICPC secures conviction of two n’assembly staff over N4.8m job scam

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) says it has secured the conviction of Mustapha Mohammed and Tijjani Adam Goni, staff of the national assembly, over a N4.8 million job scam. According to the commission, Mohammed and Goni defrauded Saifudeen Yakub and Aminu Abubakar by promising to secure them employment at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
