Lagos seals site, issues ultimatum over unapproved buildings

The Lagos State Building Control Agency has sealed a construction site and issued a 72-hour ultimatum to another property within the Lekki–Ikoyi corridor for unauthorised development.In a statement shared on X, LASBCA said its officials on Thursday sealed a building under construction at Femi Okunnu Road, Alexander Avenue, after the developers failed to secure the required permits.The agency stressed that adherence to building regulations is crucial to prevent the proliferation of unauthorised structures and to ensure safety and orderly development across Lagos.Also, LASBCA issued a (…)
