EFCC arrests three for ‘vote buying’ during Anambra governorship election

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says its operatives have arrested three people for alleged vote buying during the Anambra governorship election. In a statement shared on its X page on Saturday, the agency said the suspects were apprehended by its operatives monitoring the electoral process in different parts of the state. “The suspects are Emeka Ilokasia, arrested at Ward 2, Njikoka Local government, Anambra; Nwachuwu Loretta, arrested at Ward 2 (008), Awkuzu, Oyi local government and Emuka Chuwudi, arrested at Umunachi village, Dukonukofia local government,” the (…)
