Former Governor of Kano State, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, has said he will remain in politics for life because, to him, politics and religion are inseparable. Shekarau made the statement on Wednesday during a press conference held at his Mundubawa residence in Kano as part of his 70th birthday celebration. “My politics is my religion and my religion is my politics. I will remain in the political arena for life, and I am not going to check out,” the former Minister of Education said.
