EFCC Returns N42.5m to 70-Year-Old Widow Defrauded by Bank Officer in Kaduna

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has returned N42,500,000 to Mrs. Margret Taye Odofin, a 70-year-old widow and retiree, who was defrauded by her bank account and investment officer, Mrs. Kehinde Olawale Yusuf.The funds, presented as a bank draft, were handed over on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the EFCC's Kaduna Zonal Directorate. Acting Director Bawa Kaltungo made the presentation on behalf of EFCC Executive Chairman Ola Olukoyede.Mrs. Odofin had petitioned the EFCC in December 2024, alleging that Yusuf, an employee at a new-generation bank, lured her between November (…)
