ICPC arraigns NSCDC officer for diverting ₦1.7m

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission has arraigned a senior officer of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Deputy Superintendent Sani Yakubu, before the Kaduna State High Court on a three-count charge of criminal breach of trust and misappropriation of funds.A statement made available to newsmen on Friday by the spokesman for the commission, Demola Bakare, stated, “Yakubu was brought before Justice Isiaka of High Court 12 on Monday, November 4, 2025, for allegedly diverting ₦1,720,000 belonging to one Mrs Vennica Idoko, money he received on her (…)
