Concerns as soldiers linked to Boko Haram reportedly escape in Borno jail break

Nine military officers allegedly linked to Boko Haram terrorists reportedly escaped on Monday from a military guardroom at Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri, Borno State. Military sources confirmed the jailbreak to SaharaReporters. However, the Nigerian Army is yet to react to the development at the time of filing this report. The escapees were alleged to be involved in arms trafficking to terrorist groups operating in Nigeria’s North-East.
