Kebbi Deploys Police, Military, Vigilantes to Rescue Kidnapped Deputy Speaker

Kebbi State Police have launched a joint operation with military personnel and local vigilantes to rescue Deputy Speaker Muhammad Sama’ila Bagudo, abducted by armed bandits Friday night in Bagudo town.The attack occurred around 8:20 p.m. on October 31 as Bagudo was returning home after Isha’i prayers, police spokesman CSP Nafiu Abubakar said in a statement.Tactical units are combing escape routes and surrounding forests to secure the lawmaker’s safe release and arrest the perpetrators.Commissioner of Police Bello Sani urged calm and public cooperation, reaffirming the command’s commitment (…)
