Former PDP Deputy National Chairman Chief Olabode George has branded Friday’s Federal High Court ruling halting the party’s November 15-16 National Convention in Ibadan as “the joke of the century” and “open recipe for anarchy.”Justice James Omotosho’s order, issued in Abuja, prompted George, the Atona Oodua of Yorubaland to demand urgent intervention by the Chief Justice of Nigeria and the National Judicial Council, warning the judgement risks national breakdown akin to the 1962 Western Region crisis that triggered the First Republic’s collapse and the 1967-1970 civil war.“This judgement (…)
