                    Suspected Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters ambushed a mobile police patrol in Yobe State on Wednesday, wounding two officers with machetes and briefly seizing a rifle before being repelled in a fierce exchange.The attack occurred around 5:00 p.m. along the Bara–Gulani axis as a joint team from 19 Police Mobile Force (PMF) in Bara and 79 PMF in Buni Yadi responded to a distress call from Kojoli village, Gulani Local Government Area.Residents had reported armed herders invading rice farms and destroying crops.
