Drug trafficking: NDLEA now a joke – Peter Obi laments

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Tuesday criticized the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, saying it has become a laughing stock due to its failure to curb the influx of illicit drugs into the country. Obi attributed the situation to corruption and a weak regulatory system. The ex-Anambra governor spoke while raising concern over the use of courier and delivery services by traffickers to bring illicit drugs into the country.
