Hisbah arrests 25 over same sex marriage in Kano

The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested no fewer than 25 persons for allegedly organising same sex marriage in the Hotoro area of Kano metropolis.The Deputy Commander of the board, Mujahedeen Aminudeen, confirmed the arrest of the suspects in a statement on Sunday.According to him, the suspects, comprising 18 males and seven females, were apprehended at the Fatima Event Centre located along Hotoro bypass in Kano metropolis on Saturday.“Today, Saturday, 25th October 2025, we got a report that some people are allegedly organising same sex marriage.“Our personnel stormed the Fatima Event (…)
