Two Nigerians Emerge as Chairman, Secretary-General of Gas Exporting Countries Forum

In a historic milestone for Nigeria, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo, has been elected Chairman of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Ministerial Meeting for 2026, while Dr. Philip Mshelbila, Managing Director of Nigeria LNG Ltd, has been appointed as the Forum’s Secretary-General.
