The new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof. Joash Amupitan has promised to deliver credible, free, and fair elections going forward. The Chairman addressed the staff of the Commission for the very first time immediately after being sworn-in by President Bola Tinubu on Thursday. The Chairman said one of the tasks before him was to restore electoral confidence in the electorate, so they realise that their votes count.
