Kogi State Polytechnic Seeks Arrest of Staff Member in Alleged Salary Fraud

The management of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has called on the state House of Assembly to arrest and prosecute Mr. Abdul Hassan Sani, a staff member accused of attempting to defraud the institution through false claims. In a statement by Uredo Omale, Director of Public Relations and Protocol, the polytechnic clarified misleading reports about payroll irregularities dating back to 2014, before the current leadership assumed office.The issue arose when Mr. Sani’s complaint prompted an inquiry from the Kogi State Auditor General’s Office on August 3, 2021, questioning his removal from (…)
