Osinbajo arrives Côte d’Ivoire to lead ECOWAS election observers

The Head of the Economic Community of West African States Election Observation Mission for Côte d’Ivoire’s upcoming presidential election, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, arrived in Abidjan on Monday afternoon to lead the regional bloc’s efforts in monitoring the polls scheduled for October 25.According to a statement issued by ECOWAS on Tuesday, “the deployment of this mission is part of the 2001 Additional Protocol on Democracy and Good Governance of ECOWAS and once again illustrates ECOWAS’ unwavering commitment to promoting peace, stability, and democratic consolidation within the (…)
