Police warn against #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest, promise to arrest offenders

The Nigeria Police has warned organizers of the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest against staging a demonstration within the Presidential Villa. Recall that rights activist Omoyele Sowore is currently mobilizing for a protest to Aso Rock to demand the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. The protest, which has the backing of several opposition figures across the country, is scheduled for Monday, October 20.
