Naira records first appreciation against US dollar in four days

The naira recorded its first appreciation against the United States dollar this week at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday. Central Bank of Nigeria data showed that the Naira gained to N1,471.02 per dollar on Thursday, up from N1,473.29 on Wednesday, when it recorded the highest dip in the week under review. Thursday’s uptrend showed that the Naira strengthened by N2.27 against the Dollar on a day-to-day basis.
