Nigeria’s inflation rate drops to 18.02%

Nigeria’s headline inflation dropped to 18.02 per cent in September 2025, down from 20.12 per cent in August. This is the sixth consecutive headline inflation drop in Nigeria this year. National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, disclosed this in its Consumer Price Index and Inflation Data released on Tuesday. NBS data showed that the country’s inflation declined by 0.72 per cent on a month-on-month basis.
