Nigerian Army Rescues Nine Kidnapped Victims in Kwara State

Nigerian Army troops from 2 Division/Sector 3 Operation FANSAN YAMMA rescued nine kidnapped individuals during a night patrol along Egbe-Okuran in Kogi State and Okoloke through Patigi in Kwara State. The victims, four males and five females, were abducted from Matoku village in Patigi LGA, Kwara State, on September 24, 2025, during a terrorist raid that also involved cattle rustling.The rescue occurred in Essalu community, Yagba West LGA, Kogi State, as part of ongoing clearance operations targeting criminal elements in the region.
