Nigerian Army's GOC Leads Troops to Rescue Kidnap Victims in Kwara

Maj.-Gen. Chinedu Nnebeife, General Officer Commanding 2 Division and Sector 3 Commander of Operation FANSAN YAMA, spearheaded a successful rescue mission in Kwara, a statement released on Saturday revealed.During an operational visit to Patrol Base Babanla on Thursday, Nnebeife led troops into Babasango Forest, rescuing two kidnapped victims. The victims were handed over to Oba Pius Oluwole Oni Dofin, the traditional ruler of Idofin Odoeshe Ayekale.The operation followed a deadly bandits’ attack near Idofin in Omu-Aran LGA, where three traders were killed in Olegbede village.
