EFCC Arraigns Former NSITF Boss for Alleged N1bn Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on October 8, brought Ngozi Olejeme, former board chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), before Justice Emeka Nwite at the Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja. Olejeme faces an eight-count charge involving the alleged conversion, transfer, procurement, and possession of proceeds from illegal activities amounting to N1 billion.One charge alleges that in February 2012, Olejeme indirectly converted N321.6 million, paid into the Sterling Bank account of Adin Miles International Ltd, knowing it was derived from unlawful (…)
