Police Arrests Three Egyptians for Assaulting Security Officer at UCTH

The Cross River Police Command has detained three Egyptian nationals for allegedly assaulting a female security officer at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH). The suspects, identified as Mohammed Ayan, 24; Mohammed Mohammed, 40; and Ahmed Mohammed, 20, were apprehended after entering the hospital premises around noon on Monday to hawk household items, an activity banned within the facility.According to sources cited by Zagazola, Christiana Ada Ewa, a 34-year-old security officer in the hospital’s surveillance unit, confronted the men to enforce the no-hawking rule.
