Veteran journalist and broadcaster, Aliyu Abubakar Getso, has passed away in Kano State.His death was confirmed on Sunday by his daughter, Aisha Getso, in a Facebook post announcing in Hausa that the veteran media professional died around 3:00 am.The burial, she said, was scheduled for 9:30 am at his residence in Jambulu, Kano.“To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return! My father (Aliyu Abubakar Getso) has died around 3:00 am on Sunday night.“His burial will be held around 9:30 am at his house in Jambulu, by Allah’s grace.“May Allah forgive him and have mercy on him, amen,” she (…)
