‘Enough is enough’ – Fulani community cries out over alleged attack in Plateau community

Fulani community in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State has demanded an end to what they described as unprovoked attacks on herdsmen by natives who also kill their cows.The warning was contained in a statement signed on behalf of the herders in the council by the group’s Secretary, Abdullahi Yusuf, who called for a cessation of unprovoked and coordinated attacks on Fulani herders to avoid reprisals which often end in massive bloodshed.In the statement titled “Another Attack on Fulani Herders in Riyom,” Yusuf narrated how some Berom youths attacked a Fulani herdsman, inflicting (…)
