We Did Not Sign Reconciliation Agreement, PENGASSAN Says After Halting Strike

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has clarified that it did not sign the communiqué that led to the suspension of its recent nationwide strike against Dangote Refinery, despite government intervention to resolve the dispute. PENGASSAN President Festus Osifo made the disclosure during an appearance on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Thursday, emphasizing that the document presented at the reconciliation meeting was not a formal agreement.
