FCT police commissioner orders ‘discreet investigation’ into death of Arise TV presenter

Ajao Adewale, the commissioner of police in the federal capital territory (FCT), has ordered a “discreet” investigation into the armed robbery incident that led to the death of Somtochukwu Maduagwu, a news anchor and producer with Arise Television. On Monday, armed robbers invaded the residence of Somtochukwu, popularly known as Sommie, at Kamtape area of Abuja, the nation’s capital.
