Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, a news anchor and producer with Arise Television, has been killed in an armed robbery incident at her residence in the Katampe district of Abuja. A statement released by Hadiza Usman-Ajayi on behalf of Arise TV management said police have commenced investigations into the robbery incident, which took place in the early hours of Monday. Usman-Ajayi said the management of Arise Television commiserated with the family and loved ones of Maduagwu, popularly known as Sommie.
