On Thursday night, September 25, 2025, armed bandits attacked the off-campus male hostel of Bilyaminu Usman Polytechnic, Hadejia, along Malam Madori Road in Jigawa State. The assailants assaulted students, stole numerous mobile phones, and attempted abductions, which were thwarted by the victims’ cries for help.An anonymous eyewitness told Punch, “Around midnight, the attackers stormed the hostel, caused chaos, injured students, and fled with many phones.” Another witness, Tukur Danlami, noted, “The students’ screams alerted nearby residents, who rushed to help, forcing the bandits to (…)
