NLC Issues 14-Day Ultimatum to FG Over Poor Working Conditions at National Theatre

The Lagos State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has given the Federal Government a 14-day ultimatum to address the deplorable working conditions of National Theatre workers, demanding their immediate return to the newly renovated facility.In a letter to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammed Dingyadi, NLC Lagos Council Chairman, Funmi Sessi, condemned the “degrading and unacceptable” conditions under which workers have been forced to operate, often working under trees despite the completed renovation of the Theatre by the Bankers’ Committee.
