Oyo govt announces road closures, traffic diversion ahead of Ladoja’s coronation

Oyo State Government has declared a temporary closure of key roads in Ibadan ahead of the coronation of former governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland. The historic ceremony is scheduled to hold on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Mapo Hall, one day after Ladoja’s 81st birthday. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the organising committee said the closures would begin at 7:00 a.m. and affect the following routes: Beere Junction inward Mapo Hall, Born Photo Junction inward Oja’ba, Idi-Arere Junction inward Oja’ba, and Itamerin Junction inward Mapo Hall.
