Abdulrahaman Ahmad, son of Abubakar Gumi Ahmad, an Islamic cleric, has graduated from the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA). Gumi, the controversial cleric, previously served in the Nigerian army, where he attained the rank of captain before retiring. On Sunday, Shehu Sani, former Nigerian senator, posted a photograph of Gumi and son on X, congratulating Abdulrahaman on his graduation from the NDA. “Sheikh Gumi’s son Abdulrahaman Ahmad, graduated from the Nigerian Defence Academy; Congratulations and wishing him all the best in the service to our country,” Sani wrote on X.
