NECO Uncovers Mass Cheating in 38 Schools Across 13 States During 2025 SSCE

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has revealed that 38 schools across 13 states engaged in widespread cheating during the 2025 Internal Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). Announcing the 2025 SSCE results, NECO Registrar and CEO, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, stated that nine supervisors face blacklisting due to poor supervision, aiding and abetting cheating, lateness, unruly behavior, assault, and insubordination.
