Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has dismissed speculations of defecting to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2026 governorship election, affirming his loyalty to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In a statement issued on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke described the defection rumors as untrue and a deliberate attempt to create confusion among Osun residents.
