DR Congo discharges two survivors of Ebola outbreak

Health officials in the Democratic Republic of Congo have announced that the first two patients treated for Ebola in the Bulape health zone, Kasai Province, have fully recovered and been discharged from the local treatment center.This was disclosed by the World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa on its X handle on Tuesday.The milestone marks a significant step forward in the country’s ongoing fight against the virus, which re-emerged in the region earlier this month.The recoveries were made possible through strengthened clinical care and rapid response measures introduced over (…)
