Governor Zulum Opens 48-Classroom Almajirai School

Governor Babagana Umara Zulum on Friday commissioned a 48-classroom High Islamic College in Baga, Kukawa LGA, aimed at transforming education for almajirai by blending formal academics, Islamic studies, and vocational training. The initiative seeks to curb illiteracy and insecurity in Borno State.Speaking at the inauguration, Zulum emphasized integrating subjects like Mathematics and English to align the non-formal system with mainstream education. “This will prepare students for JAMB and secure their path to tertiary institutions,” he said.
