Vehicle Accident Uncovers 112kg Cannabis in Kano

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Kano State Command, has confiscated 150 blocks and three sacks of cannabis sativa, totaling 112 kilograms, following a road traffic accident on the Zaria-Kano Road near Gadar Tamburawa.According to a statement issued on Thursday, September 11, 2025, by the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASN Sadiq Muhammad Maigatari, a search of the involved vehicle revealed the hidden cannabis consignment.
