NSC backs Amusan, Brume-led Team Nigeria for Tokyo 2025

The National Sports Commission has reaffirmed its support for Team Nigeria ahead of the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the event is scheduled for September 13 to September 21.A statement on Thursday by Kola Daniel, a media aide to the Director-General of the NSC, Bukola Olopade, said he urged the athletes to give their best and bring honour to the country.He was also quoted as saying that the commission and Nigerians were firmly behind the team.“From the beginning, the NSC chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, declared that Nigeria must get it (…)
