Nigeria's Dangote Refinery has reassured the public that the ongoing nationwide strike by fuel tanker drivers will not lead to any petrol shortages, as operations continue smoothly despite the labor dispute.The strike, initiated on Monday, September 8, 2025, by the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), particularly its Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD) branch, has halted fuel loading at major depots, including the Dangote Refinery itself, Rainoil, and Integrated depots in Lagos.
