NSCDC arrests fraudster over N9m scam in Adamawa

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Adamawa State Command, has arrested a 28-year-old suspected fraudster accused of swindling unsuspecting victims of over ₦9.08 million.The command’s spokesperson, Nyako Baba, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued Tuesday in Yola, saying the suspect was apprehended on September 2 in Timbokum village, Ganye Local Government Area, following a report filed at the corps’ divisional office in Mubi.According to the State Commandant, Idris Bande, the suspect allegedly duped at least nine people by promising them political appointments, job (…)
