Obidient Movement clears air on El-Rufai’s visit to Imo

The Obidient Movement in Imo State has refuted reports linking its leader, Peter Obi, to Nasir El-Rufai’s recent visit to the state. In a statement signed by Anukanti Vigilius Chukwuka, Coordinator, Obidient Movement, Imo State chapter, the association said Peter Obi was not even the gathering. El Rufai was in Imo State at the weekend where he attended the Odenigbo Lecture, a cultural intellectual event organised annually by the Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri.
