Residents block third mainland bridge in protest over demolition

Traffic on the Third Mainland Bridge was paralyzed on Monday morning as residents of Oworonshoki staged a protest by blocking the inward lane leading into the community.The protesters, who came out in large numbers, accused the Lagos State Government (LASG) of demolishing their houses without proper notice or compensation, leaving many families homeless.
