I won’t retract my statement against Tinubu – Sowore dares DSS after ultimatum

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has vowed not to retract a controversial statement he made against President Bola Tinubu. Sowore, while reacting to a comment made by the President during his state visit to Brazil, described the Nigerian leader as a “criminal”. In a viral video, the President was heard saying that since he took office, there “is no more corruption” in the currency market. Reacting, Sowore wrote on his X handle: “this criminal @officialABAT actually went to Brazil to state that there is NO MORE corruption under his regime in Nigeria. What audacity to lie shamelessly!” (…)
