16 Kidnapped Bus Passengers Rescued in Edo After Abduction on Benin-Iyere Road

Sixteen passengers abducted from a commercial bus along the Benin-Iyere Agbanikaka Oluku Road in Edo State on Friday, September 5, 2025, have been rescued, according to CSP Moses Joel Yamu, spokesperson for the Edo State Police Command.The kidnapping, which took place around 4:30 p.m., gained attention after a video of other commuters on the road circulated on social media Saturday morning.
