Ex-Soldiers Block Ministry of Finance Entrance Abuja Over Unpaid Benefits

Retired soldiers on Thursday blocked the Federal Ministry of Finance headquarters in Abuja, resuming protests over unpaid benefits, including gratuities, Security Disbarment Allowance, and pension increments. The group, which set up barriers at the entrance, accused the government of failing to honor payment promises made in August. Led by figures like retired Sergeant Mama G, the ex-soldiers demanded outstanding entitlements and eligibility for the new minimum wage.
