‘Over 300 displaced, 30 houses razed’ as gunmen attack Plateau communities

Gunmen have reportedly displaced more than 300 people and set ablaze at least 30 houses in Qua’an-Pan LGA of Plateau state. The attacks, which occurred in late August across 10 communities in Doemak district, left many residents homeless as farmlands and property were destroyed on the eve of the harvest season. The affected villages include Nteng, Doop, Zhep Morop, Gyeergu, Kelaghan, Loon, Kwakii and Gorom.
