NCSNC to El-Rufai: Prove FG Pays Bandits or Apologize to ONSA

The National Civil Society Council of Nigeria (NCSCN) has fiercely criticized former Kaduna State Governor Malam Nasir El-Rufai for alleging that the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), led by Malam Nuhu Ribadu, is orchestrating ransom payments to bandits and insurgents under the pretext of a non-kinetic approach to tackling terrorism and banditry.In a Tuesday press briefing in Abuja, NCSCN Executive Director Ambassador Blessing Akinlosotu challenged El-Rufai to provide evidence for his claims within 72 hours or issue a public apology to ONSA and Nigeria’s security framework. (…)
